William Pike
Last week in Te Ngahere we made a google drawing about William Pike. On our google drawings we had to answer questions and gather up information about him. We also watched a webinar that William Pike hosted, he talked about his life and experiences. He also showed us a slideshow of his that he created about his trip to Antarctica.

Did you know that some of Australia’s most dangerous animals are their venomous snakes and box jellyfish. If you want to find out about more dangerous animals and interesting animals in Australia, keep on reading.
Eastern Brown Snake
The Eastern Brown Snake is responsible for twenty four deaths since two thousand, (the year). Most of the deaths are caused by people trying to pick up and kill the snake.
Box Jellyfish
The box Jellyfish is the most venomous marine animal known to mankind. Box Jellyfishes are considered the most venomous marine animals in Australia. They have a danger rating that is ten out of ten.
For the last couple of weeks I have been writing my informational report. I wrote about two of Australia's animals, the box jellyfish and the eastern brown snake. My WALT was WALT use topic sentences.

Last week Te Ngahere made google drawings about Proper nouns and Common nouns. Our WALT was to use common and proper nouns. We got to choose if we wanted to work in pairs or by ourselves. I worked with Missy and this is our google drawing.

Thailand Trip
Kia Ora Te Ngahere, we are n Thailand after twelve hours of flying in the plane. My family and I are having a lot of fun here. Tomorrow we are going for a boat ride while my brother and sister train for the Muay Thai competition.

Matariki Whanau Day
Last week on Thursday, Paihia School had a whanau day to celebrate Matariki. Some people woke up early in the morning to get ready for school and then they came to school at 6.30 a.m The people that woke up early in the morning walked down to the beach to gaze at the Matariki stars
